Sales of alcohol on licensed premises can only be made by or authorised by a Personal Licence Holder. All individuals applying to hold a Personal Licence must have first achieved a Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders. LASER’s Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders covers all the legal and social responsibilities of a Personal Licence Holder and meets the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003. It is supported by People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for the hospitality and catering industry. This qualification is available to learners aged 18 years or older. The recommended number of guided learning hours is 8 hours. Learners are assessed via a multiple choice question exam paper marked by LASER.
